Love is in the air! The junior class sold carnations for a prom fundraiser that were handed out today! Also, thank you to the Ag classes for finishing their floral design unit by blessing the staff with bouquets!
H-BC Schools will be 2 hours late on Thursday, February 13. Dress warm in layers when it is time to venture out!
H-BC will be dismissing at 12:00 and 12:10 (elementary) on February 12. Afternoon preschool is cancelled. Lunch will be served prior to dismissal.

Our PBIS store is restocked! Thank you to Scott Harris with Coca-Cola and SMSU for the sweet swag!! Each week, students names are drawn from the ticket buckets to win either the “game pack” (free student admission + $2 at the concession stand), the “store”, or “breakfast club.” The extrinsic reward is fun, but the point of the tickets is to build relationships acknowledging students for meeting and exceeding expectations!
Mrs. Wysong teamed up with Dr. Zonnefeld from Dordt University (sponsored by the Dordt Noyce grant) to teach 10th - 12th grade math students about algorithms and statistics looking at March Madness. Students were encouraged to look at patterns and work as teams to find successful algorithms. The students will have an opportunity to compete with their new math skills during March Madness for a chance at Dordt Swag and a traveling trophy.
