Welcome to the Hills-Beaver Creek School District Website!
I am hopeful that you stay for a while to explore and learn more about the Hills-Beaver Creek School system!
The Hills-Beaver Creek School district is located in the southwest corner of the state of Minnesota. We are the only school district in Minnesota that borders both Iowa and South Dakota. The District is approximately 20 miles east of Sioux Falls, SD. The School District is approximately 117 square miles, and made up of the communities of Hills, Beaver Creek, and Steen.
ISD #671 offers a comprehensive program beginning with two offerings of preschool, all day everyday kindergarten and a grade 1-5 program all housed at the Elementary School located in the city of Beaver Creek! The Secondary School, located in the city of Hills, was newly constructed in 2011 and houses the grades 6-12 program.
H-BC students consistently score well on state and national tests. H-BC has a low student to teacher ratio meeting the individual needs of students! The H-BC Elementary School was the recipient of the United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award in 2019.
The Hills-Beaver Creek community holds the education of its students in high priority. Community members heavily support the district in a variety of ways! It is a great place to live and learn!
Please do not hesitate continue to surf around the school district’s website or give us a call (507) 962-3240 to find out more information. I’d be happy to assist!
