HILLS WRESTLING:  Come join Hills Wrestling December 5th 6:30 pm at the Hugo Goehle Gym in Hills. Practices will be every Monday and Thursday from 6:30-7:30 pm through February. CLIMB THEATER: On Monday (11/18), our K-5 students heard an important message about brain health from two actors from CLIMB Theatre.  The actors defined brain health as "how the brain affects how we think, feel, and act," and students were taught how to recognize when a friend might be struggling with brain health.  Students also learned about advocacy, practiced empathy, and were reminded of the importance of talking to a trusted adult when they need help. The presentations were sponsored by Carson’s Cause. 


Open Enrollment: The open enrollment deadline is January 15, 2025. This applies to students leaving H-BC as well as those students intending to enroll at H-BC. Please contact Mr. Holthaus with questions.  The forms can be found:

FAMILY FUN:  Early Family Childhood Family Education is based on the idea that parents provide their child’s first and most significant learning environment and are the child’s first & most important teacher.  Children birth to age 5 and their parents/guardians are invited to join other families from 6:00-7:30 pm at H-BC Elementary on these upcoming Tuesdays: December 3 and December 17.  

LOOKING AHEAD:

  • No School November 27, 28 & 29

  • December 9- Grades 3-5 Vocal Music & 5th Grade Band Concert 7:00 pm

  • December 12- Early Dismissal - 1:00 pm at the Elementary
