H-BC Families:


FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS:
 Playoff Football starts tomorrow for the H-BC undefeated Patriots. 3:00 pm kick-off in Hills Saturday, October 26th.  All spectators (including students) MUST PAY as this is a PLAYOFF GAME! Cost is $5 students & $8 adults (NO PASSES ALLOWED). ONLY Service Dogs are allowed in the Football complex. People who wish to park must show a parking pass/handicap pass. Good luck to our Patriots!      

Student Behavior Expectations at Extracurricular Events:   Students are expected to respect one another the other team and all other spectators.  Students must stay in the areas designated by the supervisors of the event.  Sitting as a family and watching the game is desired.

FALL FESTIVAL:  Ask your child/ren about our Fall Festival!  The games, inflatables, cookies, treats and prizes were a hit.  Thank you to our PTO for the inflatables, the Senior High School Student Council for helping with all the games and to all the families who contributed treats and prizes for the event.  The students were all smiles!

PICTURE MAKEUP DAY:  The final picture day will be October 30.  If purchasing pictures is a hardship, please call the H-BC Elementary office.

Community Invited - VETERANS DAY PROGRAM - Monday, November 11th, 9:00 AM, H-BC Secondary School in Hills.  The community is invited to this program honoring our veterans.    H-BC Students and Faculty will take part.  Elementary students will be bussed to Hills.  Students and Community are encouraged to wear red, white & blue.  We would like to invite all of our Veterans to participate.  Please spread the word!

VETERAN’S PICTURES NEEDED:  
For Veteran’s Day at H-BC Schools this November, we will be creating a video honoring local veterans tied to the students and staff of HBC. This video will be presented at the program at 9:00 am on November 11th. If you have a service picture of a veteran who you would like to be included in the slide show, please email their photo, name, military branch, years of service, relation to the H-BC student or staff member to k.untiedt@isd671.net by Friday, November 1st. Thank you!


The H-BC Boys and Girls Basketball store is up and running. It will be open until November 3rd at midnight. You can purchase Patriot Basketball or Patriot Pride gear throughout this store. FAMILY FUN: 
Early Family Childhood Family Education is based on the idea that parents provide their child’s first and most significant learning environment and are the child’s first & most important teacher.  Children birth to age 5 and their parents/guardians are invited to join other families from 6:00-7:30 pm at H-BC Elementary on these upcoming Tuesdays:  November 19, December 3 and December 17.  

AM BUS CHANGES: For morning bus changes please call the HBC bus line--make sure to identify your student and the bus number they are riding.

AM DROP OFF:  If it’s raining or you don't see our school staff on the playground in the morning, please drop your student off at Door #1 on the North Side of the School.
