Weekly News and Rundown

FYI: Swimming will begin on March 15. MCA II testing will begin around the second week in April.

Math: The class has finished its work with fractions and decimal. Next week they will begin learning about polygons.
Reading: The class has just completed a letter to go out to 50 schools across the United States. The project is called the “Great Mail Race.”
Social Studies: The students are studying our Revolutionary War. They have learned more about our nation’s early heroes as well as our Declaration of Independence and much more.
English: The class is nearly finished learning about adverbs and prepositions.
Science: The class talked about gravity, magnetism, and forces.
Other News: We had a great week inside and outside. Inside the school the students worked very hard. Outside our weather has been much better. We have even seen some melting of all that white stuff.
The MCA II tests are coming up. The students will be taking them around the second week in April. Swimming lessons are also starting up. They will begin on March 15. Jaws, Jack, and Steve (the sucker fish) are doing “swimmingly” well. Other than feeling a little water logged, they are happy. Have a wonderful weekend
