In general, Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary is a Pre-K through 6th grade award winning Elementary school located in Beaver Creek, Minnesota, and is part of the Hills-Beaver Creek School District, which is made up of the communities of Beaver Creek, Hills and Steen. We have students attending our district from these communities, as well as, from Luverne, Brandon, South Dakota, Valley Springs, South Dakota.
Currently, H-BC Elementary has an enrollment that is approximately 200 students. Most grade levels are at one section. Our population is quite small, allowing staff members to focus their attention on the academic needs of all students. Developing close working relationships between the students and parents of the community via self-contained classrooms focusing on the basics of reading, writing, math, science and social studies. Specialists in art, music, band, library, computer and physical education bring expertise to the curriculum for each grade level.
H-BC Elementary provides opportunities for our students to learn leadership skills by taking part in Elementary Student Council and Our Peer Mediator Program. Our 5th grade class takes part in the National DARE program on a yearly basis.
H-BC ELementary offers a full range of Special Education and Title One services for students in grades Kindergarten through grade 6 as well.
The students and staff at H-BC Elementary take great pride in the comfortable, nurturing environment of our school. We all work together to make Hills-Beaver Creek Elementary a great place to learn!
